2 Pleasures when you have sinus allergies!!!!!!
OK, so I hate sinus allergies. I am quite clear on my status with sinus allergies. Living in the East Tennessee river valley must be one of the worst places on the planet for every kind of allergen known to my nose. I have had really bad allergies this past week without any break from the itchy throat, sinus pressure, coughing and I won’t mention all the drainage. However I have had two great surprises in the last 24 hours so for all of you suffering listen up.
First I was driving across town last night to get yard sale items at 10 pm and wishing that my chaffed nose could get a little relief when I glanced down at the Carmax lip balm in my cup holder. I had a flash back to when I was a kid and would watch in grotesque horror as my Papaw Barney would take his Chapstick and medicate his nose with it - inside and out! What a great pleasure I have been missing out on for the last 25 years. Carmax is great but medicated Blistex is the bomb!
Secondedly, if you have never had the pleasure of a saline nasal rinse, then my friend you have been missing out on one of the eight wonders of the world. It was pure heaven for clogged sinuses. And surprisingly there was no burning or stinging at all. I have not kicked the allergies yet in one day but man do I feel 100% better than I did 24 hours ago.
Don’t scoff these are awesome!
